Spectroelectrochemistry and Photochemistry

The
UVC

Visualize your electrochemistry

Have you ever wondered if your materials dissolve in the electrolyte, or at which potential side products are formed?
The UVC couples UV-Vis spectroscopy to your electrochemical test and enables the screening and analysing of the electrolyte solution for soluble products – in real time.

Gas tight sealing

Electrochemical experiments in liquids are often jeopardised by pollutants from the atmosphere – like oxygen or moisture. To eliminate this problem, the UVC features a gas-tight sealing that guarantees a hermetic cell and enables experiments outside of a glove-box.

Functional freedom

Multiple options of electrode materials available:

– Stainless Steel (electrode casting)
– Gold
– Silver
– Platinum
– Glassy Carbon

Fits your lab

The UVC comes with high-quality standard Hellma© quartz cuvettes (10mm) making it compatible with all commercially available UV-Vis spectrometers.

Easy handling

The UVC is meant to be handled without any cables. Thank to its 2mm electrical connections, it is compatible with all potentiostats. Additionally, we designed an aluminum holder that makes it simple to manipulate and assemble the cell in the glove-box.
